Radisson Farnham goes into receivership, but business as usual
The luxurious Radisson Blu Farnham Estate Golf & Spa Resort in Cavan has been put into receivership but the receiver appointed has said it's business as usual.
Aiden Murphy of Crowe Horwath Accountants Dublin has been engaged to act as Receiver to the property. He has said that 'all bookings and deposits made with the hotel will continue to be honoured' and 'all staff will continue to be employed'.
Yesterday (Tuesday), the trading company behind the Farnham Estate Golf & Spa was placed into Receivership.
Behey Ltd, headed up by Sharen McCabe, runs 20 pharmacies nationwide, mainly in Dublin, as well as the Radisson Blu Farnham Estate.
The receiver, Mr Murphy said: 'It is the intention to continue trading with business as usual. All bookings and deposits will be honoured to include deposits for weddings, conferences & events.'
Crowe Horwath will work with the hotel’s existing management team to manage the hotel to the highest possible standards.
The Receiver added: “Given the continuation of trade we look forward to working with the Farnham Estate staff to drive the business forward and would like to thank all the customers and staff for their continued support of the business.”
The Radisson Blu Farnham Estate is a 158-bedroom hotel with an 18-hole championship golf course and a spa. Its conference and events centre can accommodate up to 380 delegates.
