Lorry veers off road near Grousehall

Gardai in Cavan are attending the scene of an accident where a lorry went off the road on the N55 in the Killydoon-Grousehall area.

The driver of the vehicle, a male, was hospitalised after the lorry, which had a heavy load, but gardai believe his injuries to be non-life-threatening and no other vehicles were involved.

Two units attached to Cavan Fire Brigade and several ambulances were dispatched to the scene.

Restrictions are in place with Gardai monitoring traffic flow past the incident site.
