Priorities:
Fourth-time lucky for Cllr Kenny, who currently stands as bookmaker's favourite for a seat in the newly formed four-county constituency, he has a record of working in the community and developing cross border and community relations.
Mr Kenny is committed to delivering radical change in Ireland and to make it a better place to work and live, stating first and foremost that a Sinn Féin led Government will deliver a “better quality and more affordable” services for families across Ireland.
He says that the election is a choice between the politics of the past- of Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael- and the politics of the future- the alternative based on fairness, equality and Irish unity being put forward by Sinn Féin.
Committed to abolishing the property tax, water charges and to defending public services, Mr Kenny has also campaigned for the greater protection of local services in rural Ireland, the need for key infrastructure such as broadband, as well as targeted stimulus to boost job creation.
“I want to assure that I will be a candidate for the entire constituency and intend to spend a lot of time in Sligo, South Donegal and West Cavan,” he says.
