Two cootehill companies expansion plans welcome oreilly

Fine Gael TD for Cavan and Monaghan Deputy Joe O’Reilly, has welcomed the news that two Cootehill companies have plans for expansion, enabling them to be in a position to create additional jobs for the area.
“I was glad to learn that PQE Technology Ltd and Carleton Cake Company Ltd, both of which are located in the IDA Industrial Estate, on the Cavan Road, have purchased extra land from Cavan County Council, in order to expand their businesses,” said the Bailieborough man.
“PQE Technology Ltd, which specialise in the manufacturing of a diverse range of precision engineering, bought an extra 6.5 acres of land at their site and Carleton Cake Company Ltd, an award-winning, home-grown Cavan company, bought 7.5 acres.
“Congratulations to both companies on their planned expansion and I know that this investment will signify an important jobs boost for the town of Cootehill and the surrounding area,” he said.
