335k for bailieborough development at auction
Ten Cavan properties featured at the latest Allsop auction with mixed results.
On September 10 the RDS saw 378 lots go under the hammer with the biggest sale in the county coming in at €335K.
Thirteen apartment units at Fountain View, Bailieborough, had been given a €200K reserve, which was never in danger.
The property, sold in one lot, is made up of nine two-beds, three rented three-bed townhouses and a single one-bed apartment.
A similar lot in Crossdoney was withdrawn prior to auction, however.
Twelve units at Lismore View, Crossdoney, had been given a reserve of €490K, by far the most valuable property in the county due to be sold.
The lot comprised of three semi-detached three-bed houses, six three-bed terraced houses and three four-bed semi-detacheds.
A three-bed semi-detached home at Oak Grove, Kingscourt, meanwhile, went for a respectable €97.5K after getting a reserve of €60K.
In Mullagh, a detached four-bed at 17 Killian’s Court sold for €92,5K, almost double the reserve of €50K.
At Legnagrow, Glangevlin, a detached three-bed fixer-upper sold for €25K, which was the reserve.
Completing the sales was a derelict four-bed at Station Road, Cootehill, which had previously been listed as having a reserve of €25K but sold for €20K.
Sold after the auction was a Ballyconnell investment house at Bothar Glas. The semi-detached four-bed house, extending to approximately 110 sq ft had been given a reserve of €60K.
Also sold after auction was a 3.2-acre parcel of land at Corlismore, which had a reserve of €15K.
Withdrawn prior to auction were lands at Garrymore, Ballinagh. The 2.7-acre site was reserved at €20K.
Finally and living to fight another day is a detached four-bed at Seeorum, Canningstown, which had a reserve of €60K but was unsold.
