More than 80 staff resign from hospital group over five years
More than 80 staff, including medical, dental and nursing, have resigned from permanent or temporary positions within the Cavan-Monaghan Hospital Group since 2010.
According to HSE figures released to the recent meeting of the Dublin North-East Regional Health Forum, 42 medical or dental staff left Cavan General Hospital, while four left Monaghan over the past five years. The figures exclude the number of interns, rotational staff and student nurses, as well as those staff who died whilst in service and those who were dismissed.
