Wife murder accuseds trial begins tomorrow

The trial of a man accused of murdering his wife in Bailieborough in 2013 will begin tomorrow at the Central Criminal Court in Dublin.

Oliver Kierans (58) of Drumbannon, Bailieborough, is charged with murdering his estranged wife and mother-of-four, Patricia Kierans (54) of The Willows, The Gallops, Cavan Town, on September 5, 2013.

Mr Kierans denies the charge saying it was an accident and the trial is expected to last two weeks.
