Aggravated burglary in castleblayney appeal for information

Gardai in Castleblayney, Co Monaghan, are investigating an aggravated burglary at a house in Killycard, Castleblayney on the November 2. 

The incident occurred at approximately 5.30pm when four males entered a house at Killycard and threatened the occupants of the house. There were two women and four young children in the house at the time of the incident. One woman suffered head injuries during the incident and received treatment at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses in particular anyone who may have seen a Silver Opel Vectra in the Shercock Road area between 5pm-6pm on the 2nd November, 2014. It is believed a fifth person was driving this car.
