Garda appeal for witnesses after man shot in ballyconnell

Gardaí are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at Aghalane Bridge, Belturbet, on Saturday, October 25 at approximately 7.15pm.
A man, 41 years, was discovered with apparent gunshot wounds. He was taken to Cavan General Hospital with injuries described as non life threatening.

The scene has been preserved for technical examination.
