Irish water monitoring issues in cavan town
Water authority Irish Water are monitoring water issues in Cavan Town and county, however, are calling on members of the public to inform them if issues regarding water quality arise in their local area.
Its follows days of continuous complaints in relation to poor water quality in the Cavan Town area, which saw a large backlash on social media networks towards the authority.
However, a spokesperson for Irish Water has said that it 'continuously monitors' water treatment plant performance in the town and county, and denied experiencing any issues in relation to water supply in Cavan.
As of lunchtime on Tuesday, August 18, Irish Water had not received any customer reports of water quality issues in Cavan Town, but says it is happy to investigate the report of water discolouration once such matters are highlighted to them.
