Benefit dance for Timmins family, Ballyconnell

A benefit dance for the family of the late Michael Timmins, Lahernahone, Ballyconnell will take place in the Slieve Russell Hotel next Saturday night, October 15, at 8pm and the subscription on the night is voluntary. The music on the night will be provided by Evening Star and there will be a special guest appearance by Jacqui Bannon,direct from Glor Na Tire on TG4.There will also be a host of other guest artistes and lots of local talent. Michael was at work in his garage at the family home when he passed away suddenly on July 22, leaving a wife and a family of seven. Full story in this week's Anglo-Celt.
