Nollaig shona agus athbhliain faoi mhaise d’ár léitheoirí go léir

Snapper Adrian Donohoe was up early to photograph the lunar eclipse at sunrise last Tuesday, December 21, the shortest day of the year. The moon turned a deep red as it set in the west, totally eclipsed, though the freezing fog behind the cathedral in Cavan Town disguised that fact somewhat. There won't be another total eclipse visible from Ireland for five years, so Adrian can sleep easy for a while!
