45 new jobs for Granard

Kiernan Milling has anounced a major investment in Granard, Co. Longford, which is expected to create over 45 jobs. This investment will be a seven figure sum and relates to the development of a state-of-the-art animal feed mill to be located alongside their current operation. This faciltiy will allow the company to meet increased demand from customers for other brands within their product range, namely "Stewarts Animal Feeds". Over the coming months, they intend to expand their animal remedy and farm supplies business and build on the good reputation Kiernan Milling has built in the market. Padraig kiernan concluded that; 'Kiernan Milling is an ambitious company with exciting plans and our new mill is another example of this. It is an exciting time for the directors and staff of Kiernan Milling and we look forward to the continued support of our loyal customers'. The company is market leader in Ireland for pig and poultry feed and currently employs 85 people.
